Mystery malware Recently, I moaned about Google Chrome blocking one of our sites because of alleged malware (there wasn’t any) and why, I asked, could Google not email us about such findings so we can prevent these occurrences?

Today, Google was good enough to do that via email—but when I followed the instructions, I get to a page at google.com that tells me nothing is wrong. The page in question is also clean, as far as I can tell.

It might be useful to tell us just what site we are allegedly linking to that causes malware. If it’s an ad network, then we can limit that network.

I wonder: how accurate are these notifications? Obviously, this one was totally wrong, but what causes them to err this greatly?
