New ads With the next Miss New Zealand pageant around the corner, it was time to update the ads. The old ones with Katie Taylor still worked conceptually, although the new Priyani Puketapu ones had to be created from scratch with (nearly) the same typefaces.
The Fairfax Press continues to love me Actually, the organizers never said this, so putting it in quotation marks is a bit strange. Specifically, I said it, though I attributed it to all the judges. The list continues to grow, and it makes you wonder.

Will Ria van Dyke be the next Miss Universe? Ria would be the most popular Miss Universe New Zealand this century, by my reckoning. In line with the title, she’s nearly universally loved—we’ve seen positive comments from a global audience on our website, many saying that New Zealand has a real contender this year at Miss Universe.
