More than Valerie My friend Keith Adams started a Valerie Leon fan page on Facebook after publishing a 1973 Motor Show photograph with the actress—and two-time Bond girl. Tonight, after uploading some screen shots from The Persuaders episode ‘The Long Goodbye’ to Keith’s page, in which Valerie guest-stars, I was reminded how many famous people were in this: Anoushka Hempel, for starters, who is a successful interior designer and hotelier now, and Madeline Smith, another Bond girl who was with Roger Moore in Live and Let Die. Here are the two ladies with Bernie and Roger.

When I was a teen and in my 20s: those birds are fit!

Roger Moore and Tony Curtis (R.I.P.) in The Persuaders.
Bye bye, Bernie On the day Bernard Schwartz died, I watched two episodes of The Persuaders as a tribute. Tony, you will be missed.
