The car as a domestic appliance This is at the Clifton Terrace car park today. Count the Corollas. Of 10 consecutive cars parked here, six are Toyota Corollas, broken only by two Mitsubishi Lancers. The car next to the farthest Corolla is a Toyota Caldina. I was surprised I made it past all these without yawning. (Admit it, you just yawned.)
Fact: the Toyota Corolla was, for many years, the top-selling car in New Zealand (and presently is again).
