When it comes to traditional, paid media, while nearly half of consumers around the world say they trust television (47%), magazine (47%) and newspaper ads (46%), confidence declined by 24 percent, 20 percent and 25 percent, respectively, between 2009 and 2011.
Bringing it back to the people Very useful research—and gives those with social network access a far greater pull than traditional media. I realize things will change once there’s a level of saturation in social media—but we’re a long way from that, and there are few signs of individuals becoming surreptitious social media sellers. Sad about banner ads being so darned low.

Lara’s theme Calvin Klein has extended its CK One brand into cosmetics for the first time, and to preserve continuity (why not?), Lara Stone and others are fronting the advertisements. To make sure everything goes properly, Fabien Baron has co-creative-directed. The campaign breaks in March.

Old Mout Cider Who came up with the slogan, ‘We think it’s pretty good’? Reminds me of J. T. Walsh’s failed ad-brainstorming session in Crazy People: ‘Bayer Aspirin: we hope it’s the best.’
